In designing the titles for the documentary film, “Brilliant Moon: Glimpses of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche,” we were very conscious of taking an approach that was not the usual treatment of the subject matter. Instead, we went for something that felt contemporary and strong, but still had a sense of tranquility and space.
For the cover art, we carried over this approach, creating a graphic treatment of the moon and emphasizing the light and the idea that this film was still a fragment or a glimpse of this man.
