Friendly Fires “Friendly Fires”

For Friendly Fires’ self-titled album, we smashed a huge mirror with a civil war era cannon ball deep in the woods. Reflected in the shattered glass is the canopy of trees above. To enhance the shattering motion, we superimposed splatters of paint shooting out and suggesting a night sky.
